Yes, for light use and display purposes only, the sword is oil-tempered to a hardness of ultimately 55HRC-65HRC. But it’s not meant to be used in a battle setting, to say the least.

For the blade part, wipe it with a piece of cloth and put a very thin layer of oil for it to avoid getting rust. When not in use, the sword must be Rhinewing in the leather sheath they came in.
