Legend Of The Seeker - Swords Kingdom

Legend of the Seeker Swords
Based on Terry Goodkind’s series ‘Sword of Truth’, ‘Legend of the Seeker’ is a live-action television award-winning series.
The first episode of the Legend of the Seeker premiered on November 1, 2008, and got distributed under Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
Up till now, two seasons have been released. The first season came with twenty-two episodes and was broadcast first from November 2008 to May 2009. The plot of this season was established on the first Sword of Truth novel, Wizard’s First Rule. The second season of the series, (aired November 2009) was also based on The Stone of Tears. This season included Tabrett Bethell on screen with the other three main cast members, as Cara.

The story of Legend of the Seeker revolves around Terry Goodkind’s fantasy novel, The Sword Of Truth. The world of the world that Terry created is divided into three main provinces that are, Westland, the Midlands, and D’Hara. Westland and Midlands are separated by a magical boundary to prevent any magic from invading the other province. Whereas on the other side of Midlands is D’Hara, ruled by Darken Rahl. A Wizard of the First Order and the Confessors give seekers company. Confessors are ancient women who look after the people of Midlands and the Seeker.
Since the first season is based loosely on the book The Sword of Truth, all events of the book are not seen in the story. A few stories contain events and characters that are not present in the book.

The story of Legend of the Seeker initiates with the invasion of Darken Rahl’s army into the Midlands. Kahlan Amnell, who’s a confessor, makes a risky journey to Westland to search for a wizard and the Seeker who is expected to defeat Rahl. During this venture, Kahlan finds the wizard and the Seeker; a young man by the name of Richard Cypher, who is forced to accept a new destiny. These people together go on a quest in search of Darken Rahl, and they plan to find him and defeat him.

Legend of the Seeker Swords are quite awesome and ornamental. We actually have four versions of this. The Legend of the Seeker’s second season is based loosely on the second book of the Goodkind’s series, Stone of Tears. The story continues, and the audience is shown how Richard, Kahlan and Zeddious unintentionally end up in the world of death. During the quest that started in the first season, they helped the Keeper of the Underwood to tear the veil that separates the world of the living from the brutal world of the dead. When the second season commences, their new quest begins in which they seek the Stone of Tears that seals the tears in both the worlds and to defeat the Keeper. The three main characters are now joined by Cara, who was once their enemy.

Difference of the Characters
The characters of the Legend of the Seeker are mainly inspired from the book. However, they’re featured in different roles and relationships, along with different backgrounds and abilities.
The TV series shows Kahlan as a skilled dagger-fighter, having a high degree of martial prowess. She is depicted to be capable of fighting against multiple opponents at a time in close quarter combats.
She, along with her sister Dennee, suffered a traumatic childhood because of their father, who was a stone carver.
Darken Rahl is portrayed to be Richard’s half-brother, rather than his father. They both are sons to Panis Rahl. During the first season of the Legend of the Seeker, Darken Rahl has not been granted any magical ability. He is shown to employ sorcerers to help him with magic. However, in the second season, Rahl’s house is shown to be magically very powerful.
Then the wizard Giller appears who is a villain and opposes Rahl in Wizard’s First Rule. However, the TV Series portrays him as one of Rahl’s personally hired sorcerers.
Richard and Jensen are children to the same mother, Taralyn. However, the father remains unknown.
Nicci was initially portrayed as a brunette with dark hair, however after being killed she became blonde and became the most powerful sorceress. Richard, on the other hand, is a powerful wizard since he comes from both powerful magical families that are Rahl’s and Zorander’s.
